Hi! I just found your blog around the net while searching for any write-ups about Mt. Timbak. I am also a newbie aspiring travel blogger, and on November I'll be on a solo trip to Baguio + sidetrip to Mt. Timbak. I just want to ask few tips from you regarding the climb. Do you think the trail to Mt. Timbak is safe for solo hikers? I heard you can't get a guide until you reach the school so I'm a little worried if the place is safe for female travelers. I hope to hear from you soon. I enjoy reading your blog posts especially those about mountaineering & waterfalls. More power to your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteYou might also want to check on my blog at http://eatshootfly.blogspot.com :)
Hi Karen, Thanks for dropping by and for the wonderful comments about Geejay Travel Log.
DeleteRegarding your question on Timbak, Yup I can say that it's pretty safe. Trails are wide and their quite obvious. There are also people around [mostly farmers] so percentage of getting lost is low. Just an advise, be careful not to step on their vegetable plots - It was one of the important thing told to us before we started trekking Mt. Timbak. =]
Hey, I checked your blog and you have interesting posts. I added you on my reading list and became a follower of your blog.
Hi Geejay! Thanks for the reply. I will surely take note of your advice. Also, thanks for following my blog. I just started following yours as well. :)

This blog inspires me to travel more and it actually made me realize that I am missing a lot of things in life. It's like, you're 24 and you have gone to a lot of places already while I am 24 too but have yet still a lot of places to go around. Keep it up!

DeleteHello Geejay,
ReplyDeleteIts very nice. Our group is planning to scale this mountain just like you and we are all first timers (we also have girls amongst us). I would appreciate if you could send me a name or contact number whom we can reach to assist us with our climb. If you could also give us information as to how much the cost of the trip (fare, registration, etc).
Hoping for your immediate response.
Thank you very much. :))
Hi Nikko, you forgot to include which mountain you are referring to...
ReplyDeleteOh sorry ! its Gulugod Baboy in Batanggas.
Deleteahhh Gulugod Baboy. Ok, sorry but I dont have contacts there. We trekked on our own and didn't hired a guide. For the fare, kindly look at the bottom part of my blog post. I written it there. With regards to registration, I forgot to include its location but it is known in the place. Just ask the locals for you to find it easily. =]
Deleteits okay..thank you very much :)
Deletenp Nikko. Thank you as well for visiting my blog
Deletehello "Geejay :)
ReplyDeletei just want to know if worth it to stay in little boracay for 15 days ?
this will be my husband and i first time to visit that place ...
is there a nice cheap hotel near in beach like walking distance ? im just confuse because some of my friends says that its not that developed well yet ....
Hi Nica. Are you referring to Boracay de Cavite? If yes, then on my opinion, 15 days is too much for staying in this place. I suggest go to other places in the Philippines. Travelling is fun and exciting :)
DeleteThere are rooms available within the vicinity of Boracay de Cavite. Unfortunately, I don't know what are their ratings.
nice :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Raven. What resort are you referring to?
DeleteHi Geejay Gelogo i'm referring to the beach resort in cavite near in batangas?
ReplyDeleteYou mean Boracay de Cavite? Sorry but I dont have their contact number.
DeleteHello po kailangan ko ng tulong :)
ReplyDeletebibisita na po yung foreigner boyfriend ko soon,
pa recommend naman po ng places na pwede ko siyang dalin, preferably nasa Manila or malapit sa Manila
Kung within the Metro, I suggest itour mo siya sa Intramuros. Bukod sa mura, maganda at rich in Filipino culture pa yung lugar. If he's into beach naman nandyan ang Batangas :)
