Cucina Andare @ The Link, Glorietta

|| DATE:

CUCINA ANDARE is part of the Mecato Centrale Group in which we know as a food market that is now all over the metro. It has been the birthplace of many fast growing food retailers such as Manang's Chicken, Mochiko, Merry Moo, Mio Gelati, Zen Taclings and many more! Now, to continue on bringing great food, music and art, Cucina Andare has found a new home at Glorietta, Makati - The Link!

We can now bond and hangout with our family, friends and co-workers at the roof deck of Glorietta's The Link Car Park while enjoying our food. The Link building is beside Makati Shangri-La and just in-front of the Landmark Department Store. As what I stated previously, the new place of Cucina Andare is at the roof deck of the building and therefore a grand view of Makati Skyline awaits to all foodies out there who'll visit the place.

How to get there?
Take a MRT ride going to Ayala Station. Then from Ayala Station, you'll have to walk until you reach The Link car park building. You'll be passing through SM Makati, Glorietta 4 and Hard Rock Cafe. The Link is surrounded by Greenbelt, Landmark and Makati Shangri-La. As you reach The Link building, take the elevator going to the 7th Flr. Then after that, take the stair going to the rooftop.

As we were taking the stairs to the rooftop, we already heard party music playing and by that, we knew it will be a one fun night for all of us. And it really was. Because as we step in and reach the venue, we all went WOW because the site is a great place to spent our Friday night. There were food stalls, music played by live bands, refreshing air, and more! It was like a celebration of great food with music and even art. As there are also stalls which sell drawings, paintings and toys.

During the launch, Cucina Andare/Mercato Centrale Group also tagged along people from "Radio Republic" (an online music channel/magazine). They brought musicians and bands to entertain diners/foodies consisted of Inky de Dios, The Slinks, Steady Machine and lastly and definitely not the least, Kjwan. They also invited the creative group of "Vinyl on Vinyl" which highlights pop culture artists ranging from contemporary art, to underground, to street art.

Which one should we order?
I don't know what do they call this kind of art but its nice and really eye catching

Aside from that, there' also an UNO Magazine press con that day and an autograph signing with the lovely Ms. Dawn Jimenez. She's the cover girl of UNO Magazine for the month of March and I believe she's a perfect choice for their summer edition!

Going back, choosing what food to eat has been a challenged for us. There were wide varieties of food available on the venue and what made it more complicated was, it all look good.

Though their specialty is Lechon Kawali hence we bought Sugpo from them

The cheese on their Nachos is overloaded! Try it out!

College days! I miss this one :)

Who wants to try this out? Anyone?

I know... they all look good and tasty!

My colleague and I stayed at the Cucina Andare for more than 3 hours. We just talked about life, work, travel, blogging, and more while we enjoy our food. Though we were in the middle of Makati City and eating outside, we had a very cozy and relaxing dinner. We were just chilling and just feeling the breeze of the air.

Group shot with my hair on fire! Hahaha
